Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment on Thursday, November 18, 2021
beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building located at 3800 University Blvd.,West University Place,Texas.
Note: The Commission reserves the right to convene in a closed session for any agenda item if the need arises
pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The subject(s)of the meetingon which the Board will discuss and take action are:
Call to order
1. Notices,Rules, Etc.Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying parties, swearing of
witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No.2021-0018,regarding property at 3908 Riley St.,Houston,TX 77005(Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding a variance to Appendix A, Article 2, Section 2-102 Certain Terms, Single-
detached use to install a second gas meter for a back-up generator.
b. Deliberations, decisions, other activities etc. regarding the proceeding matters.
3. Docket No.2021-0023,regarding property at 0 Kirby Dr.,Houston,TX 77005(Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding three variances to Section 7-101, Table 7-2 Yards, of the Zoning Ordinance
to 1) allow a street side yard of three (3) feet where 10 feet is the minimum required on Plumb St., 2)
to allow a minimum side yard of three where five (4) feet to the adjacent property, 3) and to allow a
minimum of one and a half(1.5) feet for interior lots where 5 (5) feet is required (unless constructed
with common wall as provided by Note 4.1). The applicant seeks the variance to develop three lots in
a PDD-TH2 District as four building sites.
b. Deliberations,decisions, other activities etc.regarding the proceeding matters.
4. Rules of Procedures.Matters relating to amendments to the rules of procedures.
5. Meeting Minutes.Matters relating to the approval of minutes from October 28,2021.
Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements to be able to participate in the meeting may contact
the person who signs this notice, below, in advance of the meeting, to allow time for arrangements to be made
as necessary. The meeting place mentioned above is accessible by wheel chairs by using the sloped ramp
located at the west entrance to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are available in the
parking lot adjoining University Boulevard.
