, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 8DS, WH'ICH lffiRROVED
THE BUOOET OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, FOR
THE FISCAL 'w.EAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1963, AND ADOPTED ON THE
26TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1962. -
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of West UniversityPlace, Texas
has on certain datesanff occasions, found it necessary, worthwhiie and expe-
dient to expend funds of the city 'fOr the best interest and welfare of the
public, for items which were not considered nor included in the original
Budget and Budget Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission to increase various
items of ,income and expenditure known to be in excess of the amount provided
for in the original Budget, so that the amount of additional expenditures
maybe offset by a like amount of additional income.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE ,T:EXA$: '

Section 1. The Budget of the City of West University Place for the
12-month, period l:J.eginning. January 1, 1963 and ending Decemb~r 31, 1-963, as
heretofore adopted be, and it is hereby, amended to provide for additio~al
expenditures and revenues, both from the General Fund and the Water-Sewer
Fund, as shown by the follpwing schedule:

Section 2. Additional Income: Increase Delin~uent Tax Collections
by the sum of $10,000. Increase Utility Gross Receipts paid by Houston'
Lighting and Power Company by the sum of $4,627.50. Increase interest
earned on time deposits by the sum of $612.37. The total amount of addi-
tional income thus amounting to $15,239.87.
Additional Income: Water-Sewer Fund. Increase income from the sale
of water by the sum of $1,567.66.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage and the 1963 Budget amended accordingly.' J
