AN ORD~CE FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT EACH AND ALL OF THE
PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN HAD AND ALL THINGS DONE PREREQUISITE TO
THE HOIDING OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER TEE AMEIIDING OF
ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF THE CITY EF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE,

1 AND 2, BLOCK 20, WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE FIRST ADDITION; FINDING
THAT A PUBLIC: BEARING FOR TEE-PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AN AME1ID-
MENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 111 HAS BEEN DULY AND LEGALLY HELD; APPROV-
ING AND ADOPrING TEE REPORTED RECOMMENDATION OF THE ZONING AND
PLAlrnING BOARD THAT ORDINANCE NO. 111 BE AMElIDED SO AS TO PERMIT
SAID SUBDIVISION; FINDING THAT ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY' PIiACESHOULD BE SO AME:NDED; AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 111 PERMI'l'rING SUCH SUBDIVISION; AND PROVIDING KN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Mr. W. N. McCollum has heretof'ore duly and properly r€l.quested
permission for the subdivision of the West l of Lots 1 and 2, Block 20, West
University Place First Addition into two lots, one of' said lots to be an in-
side lot with 57! feet frontage and 150 feet depth and the other to be a CO!-
ner lot with 1~2t feet f'rontage and 150 f'eet depth; both lots to f'ront on
Brompton Road; and
WHEREAS, a proper notice of such hearing was given by publication in G

the Houston Chronicle and notice was mailed to each of' the owners of' property
wi thin 200 feet of the afore,said lots; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such notice a public hearing was held by the City
Commission at the City Hall, 3800 University :BOUlevard, at 7;30 P.M., Monday,
March 25, 1963; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that the request of Mr.
W. N. McCollum should be granted:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of West University Place
hereby f'inds and determines that all f'ormalities required by Ordinance No. 111
of said City relative to the request of Mr. W. N. McCollum for an amend1f1ent to
the said Ordinance to permit the subdivision of the West t of' Lots l:add 2,
Block 20, West University Place First Addition into two bts have been met.
Section 2. That the report and recommendation of the Zoning and Plan-
ning Board relative to the request of' Mr. W. N. McCollum, be, and it is hereby,
approved and adopted.
Section 3. That Section 24 of Ordinance No. 111 of the City of West
University Place, Texas, is hereby amende.d by the addition of' a sub-paragraph In
to be known as Sub-paragraph No. ~ to read as f'ollows: U

"( 52)" The West t of Lots 1 and 2, Block 20, West University Place
First Addition are hereby subdivided _into two lots, one of said lots
being an inside lot with'51tfeetfrontage and 150 feet in depth, and
the other lot being a corner lot with 142t feet frontage and 150 feet
in depth, both of said lots_fronting,onBrompton Road; provided, how-
:;ever, that any improvements placed on such .lots shall in all things
comply with existing Ordinances andtheBu~lding Code of the City of
West University Place, Texas." '

Section 4. This Ordinance will take effect and be in force immediately
from and after its passage and approval.
