ORDINANCE NO. 818
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 255 OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, TO PROVIDE
FOR A FEE OF $2.00 FOR THE ISSUANCE OF A DOG
LICENSE AND TO PROVIDE FOR A FEE OF $0.75 PER DAY
UPON THE REDEMPTION OF ANY ANIMAL FROM THE POUND
TO HELP DEFRAY THE EXPENSE OF FEEDING -SUCH ANIMAL~2j

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TE.XAS:
Section 1. Article t of Ordinance No. 255 of the City of West Univer-
sity Place is hereby amended by increasing the annual license tax required
upon each male and female dog six (6) months of age and over from the sum
of $1.00 to the .sum of $2.00. , .
Section 2. Article VI of OrdinanGe No. 255 is hereby amended to increase
the daily board fee for each animal held in the pound from the sum of
$0.50 per day for each day such animal is so impounded to the sum of
$0.75 per day for each day the animal is impounded.
Section 3. This ordinance' shall be in force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
