THE, CODE OF. ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, AND CONTAINING FINDINGS AND RELATED PROVISIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS: Section 1. Section 19-167 of the Code of Ordinances, City of West University Place, Texas,. is hereby amended to read in its entirety as follows: Sec. 19~167. Removal of equipment and debris from vacated premises; restoration. (a) It shall be the duty of the licen~ee, at the times required by this section: (1) to remove and to properly dispose of.al~ equipment, slab, porches, beams, pipes, rubble, steps and other debris resulting from the moving of any house; and (2) to restore the surface of all ground occupied by ,0: ' the house or affected by the moving of the house, such restoration to be accompl ished in a manner that prevents the possibility of stagnant water accumulation and that allows the mowing of the ground by ordinary domestic lawnmowing equipment. (b) The removal and disposal shall be commenced by the licensee as soon as practicable after the house is moved and must be prosecuted diligently to completion by the licensee. In all cases, the licensee much complete the removal, disposal and-ground restoration on or before the tenth day following the day the house is moved. Secti on 2. All ordi nances and parts of ordi nances in confl i ct herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict only. Section 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of this ordinance or the appl ication thereof to any person or circumstance, shall ever be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this ordinance and the appl ication of such word" phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or other part of thi s ordi nance to any other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby. n L 1 o ,='" Ordinance Number 1288 <#l:~9 -i "Ct', Z. Section 4. The City .Council officially finds, determines and declares that a sufficient w~itten notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each meeting at which this ordinance. was discussed, considered or acted upon was given in the manner required by the Open Meetings Law, TEX. REV. CIV. STAT. ANN. art. 6252-17, as amended, and that each such meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all times during such discussion, consideration and action. The City Council ratifies, approves and confirms such' notices and the contents and posting thereof. Section 5. This ordinance takes effect on the tenth day following its publication as required by Section 2.12 of the City Charter. r-.
