ORDINANCE NUMBER 1247
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, IN REGARD TO
THE AMBULANCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
wHEREAS, the City Council has considered Section 9-61 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of West University Place, Texas, and finds
that revisions and modifications of such Section are necessary for the
benefit and welfare of the City~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of West
University Place, Texas, is hereby amended so that hereafter said
Section 9-61 shall read as follows:
"Section 9-61. Created~ composition.
An ambulance advisory committee is hereby created to consist
of six (6) full voting members, at least two (2) of whom
shall be medical doctors who are members of the Harris County
Medical Soctety~ cone (1) of whom is chief of the fire
department ,'of the ci ty ~ and the remaining members shall be
appropriately qualified residents of the city. In addition,
the city health officer and the city manager shall be ex
officio members of the committee without voting privileges."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall become effective and be in
full force and effect from the date of final passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON FIRST READING this the 28th day of
October , 1985.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON SECOND READING this the 11th day of
November , 1985.
