ORDINANCE NUMBER 1172
AN ORDINANCE CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AT 7:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY,
MAY 27, 1981, TO CONSIDER A REPORT OF THE ZONING AND PLANNING
COMM I SS ION RECOMMEND I NG CE'RTA I N AMENDMENTS TO ORD I NANCE NUM-
BER 111 TO CLARIFY AND UPDATE DEFINITIONS OF SUCH ORDINANCE;
PROVIDING FOR A JOINT HEARING ON SAID DATE BY THE CiTY COMMIS-
SION AND ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION; DIRECTING THAT NOTICE
OF SAID HEARING BE GIVEN AS PROViDED BY LAW; REQUIRING THAT
A COpy OF THE REPORT OF THE ZONING AND'PLANNING COMMISSION BE
FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY SECRETARY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECT! VE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That a public hearing shall be held at 7:30 p.m.,
May 27, 1981, at the Community Building of the City of West University Place,
Texas~ located at 6104 Auden,to consider the report 'of the'Zoniiig and Plan-
ning Commission recommeiiding that Zoning Ordinance'Number 111 of said city
be amended. .
Section 2. That such hearing shall be a joint hearing before the
City Commission and Zoning and Planning Commission of said city.

Section 3. The City Secretary shall publish notice of such hearing
in the official paper of the City' of "Jest University Place, Texas, at least
fifteen (15) days before the date of such hearing and in addition thereto
shall mail notice of such hearing to owners of all property in the City of
West University Place; such owners to be determined according to the current
tax roll of the City of West University Place, Texas, and the mailing of such
notice shall be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to the time set for the
hea ring.
Section 4. A copy of the report of the Zoning and Planning Commis-
sion shall be filed in the office of the City Secretary and shall be available
for inspection by any interested party.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be inferce from
and after its passage and approval.
