AN ORDINANCE CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING AT 7:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY,
OCTOBER 10, 1979, TO CONSIDER A REPORT OF THE ZONING AND
PLANNING CO~IISSION RECOMMENDING AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE
NUMBER 111 TO REZONE LOT 1, BLOCK 1, COLLEGEVIEW 3RD ADDITION,
FROM A SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR A
JOINT HEARING ON SAID DATE BY THE CITY COMMISSION AND ZONING
AND PLANNING COMMISSION; DIRECTING THAT NOTICE OF SAID HEAR-
ING BE GIVEN AS PROVIDED BY LAW; REQUIRING THAT A COpy OF THE
REPORT OF THE ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION BE FILED IN THE
OFFICE OF THE CITY SECRETARY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED ,BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That a public hearing shall be held at 7:30 p.m., October
10, 1979, at the Community Building of the City of West University Place, Texas,
located at 6104 Auden, to consider the report of the Zoning and Planning Commis-
sion recommending that Zoning Ordinance Number 111 of said City be amended to
rezone Lot 1, Block 1, Collegeview 3rd Addition, from a Single Family Dwelling
District to a Two Family Dwelling District in the City of West University Place.
Section 2. That such hearing shall be a joint hearing before the Lity
Commission and Zoning and Planning Commission of said City. '
Section 3. The City Secretary shall publish notice of such hearing in
the official paper of the City of West ~niversity Place, Texas, at least fifteen
(15) days before the date of such hearing and in addition thereto shall mail
notice of such hearing to the owners of property lying within 200 feet of any
point of the above described lots; such owners shall be determined according to
the current tax roll of the City of West University Place, Texas, and the mail-
ing of such notice shall be made at least fifteen (15) days prior to the time
set for the hearing.
Section 4. A copy Qf the report of the Zoning and Planning Commission
shall be filed in the office of the City Sec~etary and shall be available for
inspection by any interested party.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage~and approvaL
