ORDINANCE NUMBER 1133
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
MANUAL FOR THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS; PRO-
VIDING FOR AMENDMENTS THERETO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFE~TIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a Jersonnel Policies and Proce-
dure Manual is necessary for the City of West University Place, Texas; and
WHEREAS, a p~oposed Pers~nnel Polici~sand Procedure Manual has
been submitted to the City Commission for its review; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that said Personnel
Policies and Procedure Manual will provideadmini~trative personnel ~f the
city with guidelines and procedures ;_and
WHEREAS, said Policies ana Procedures Manual will require amendments
and modifications thereto from time to time in order to comply with local,
state and federal statute changes.
NOW~THEREFORE; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY'PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Personnel Policies and Procedure Manual of the
City of West University Place, Texas, -is hereby adopted in its entirety.
Section 2~ That the ~dministrative staff of the City of West Uni-
versity Place is hereby authorized to make required amendments and/or
modifications to said Personnel Policies and Procedure_Manual as required by
law, with approval of the City Commission.
Section 3. "This ordinance' shall take effect and be in force
immediately from and after its passage. ,
