AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, ,TEXAS , BY AMENDING SECTION 24-67 (a)
TO PROVIDE FOR A CHARGE.FOR COMMERICAL..SERVICE: AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ,CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Section 24-67(a) of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of West University Place", T,exas be, amended so that hereafter said Section
24-67(a) shall read as follows:
"Section 24-67. Sewer service charge.
(a) There 1S hereby assessed and levied a monthly charge for
each and every connection with the sanitary sewer of the
ci ty .
Commercial Rate:
The fee per month per connection for sanitary sewer service shall
be a minimum charge of four dollars ($4.00) for the first 3,000
ga110ns'of water used; seventy-five ,cents ($0.75) per thousand
for each of the next 97,000 gallons of water used; and fifty cents
($0.50) for each 1,000 gallons of water used to 1,000~000 gallons;
and then twenty-five cents ($0.25) per 1,000 gallons of water used
thereafter."

Section 2. The fee provided for in said Section 24-67(a) as amended
shall become effective and payable on and after September 1, 1977.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage and approval as required by law.
