AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION. 23-106 OF THE CODE. OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, T~XAS;: PROVIDING' FOR.A
SPEED OF .NOTMIDRE THAN. TWENTY (20)" MI,lESPER HOUR: IN A- SCHOOL
ZONE DURING THE HOURS FROM 7:30 A.M. TO. 9:.15 A.M. AND FROM
1 :45 P.M. TO 3: 30 P.M. ON SCHOOL DAYS; AND PROVIDING AN EF-
FECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Section 23~106 of the Code of Ordinances of the
. ..
City of West University Place, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 23-106. Same - Park or school areas.
No person shall ,drive a vehicle at a greater rate of speed
than twenty (20) miles per hour in any park or school area
within the city during the hours from 7:30 a.m., to 9:1'5 a.m.
and 1:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m_ on all school days."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately a-fter its
passage and approval as required by law.
