AN ORDINANCE AMENDmNG THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS; ADOPTING THE 1975 EDITION
OF THE NATIONAL ELEClElla\CAL CODE; PROVIDING FOR THREE (3)
CERTIFIED 'COPIES OF SAID' CODE TO BE FILED IN THE OFFICE '
OF THE CITY SECRETARY; AND PROVIDING AN"EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE ClTY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS: '
Section 1. That Section 10-115 of theCCode of Ordinances of the
City of West University Place, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Secti.on 10-115. Adoption of electrical code.
There is hereby adopted by the city and declared operative
therein for the purpose of' establishing rules and regula-
tions for the erection, construction, alteration, repair,
removal, conversion andn~aintenance of e1ecttrcal facili-
ties, installations and equipment in homes, buildings and
other installations, and for the issuance of permits, col-
lections of fees therefor, and the making of inspections
thereof, the National Electrical Code, 1975 edition, of
which not less than three (3) certified copies have been
and are now on file in the office of the city secretary,
and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated herein as
fully as if set out at length herein, and shall be con-
trolling and binding within the city.1I
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force immed-
iate1yfrom and after its',approva1 as required by law.
