AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 792 DECLARING
THE PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON ANY RESIDENTIAL
LOTS EXCEPr IN SPECIFIED PLACES A NUISANCE; AMEND-
ING SUCH ORDINANCE TO "PROVIDE THAT NO NOTICE SHALL
BE REQUIRED FOR ANY SECOND OR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE
UNDER SAID ORDINANCE WITHIN SPECIFIED TIME AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 792 is hereby repealed and
such Section 2 shall hereafter be and read as follows:

"Section2: Any person, corporation, partnership,
syndicate, or company who commits the acts herein-
above prohibited, or permits such nuisance to
exist, and who shall neglect or refuse to aba.i:;e
the same to the satisfaction of the City Commis-
sion of said City after five days notice from the
Chief of Police of said City to do so, shall, on
conviction be punished by a fine of not less than
$1.00 nor more than $200.00. Each day such viola-
tion shall be permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense. If a vehicle is illegally
parked as herein provided within a period of six
months from the date of the original notice, the
five day notice shall not thereafter be necessary
and upon conviction said person, corporation,
partnership, syndicate, or company shall be
punished as hereinabove provided. "
Section 2. 0 This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage and approval and proper publication.
