MARSHALL ET AL VS. TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, ::EN THE COURT OF CIVIL APPEALS FOR TEE FIRST SUPREME JUDICIAL DISTRICT OF TEXAS AT HOUSTON, TEXAS, UPON THE APPEAL OF SUCH CASE IN SAID COURT AND IN CONNECTION WrrH ANY WRIT OF ERROR OR PROCEEDINGS TEEREFROM IN THE SUPREME COURT OF TEXAS. BE IT ORDAU1ED BY TEE CITY COMMISSION' OF TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSrry PLACE, TEXAS: 1. The City of West University Place, Texas, has agreed to and does hereby employ Paul Strong to represent it in the present appeal in the Court of Civil Appeals at Houston, Texas, and if carried to the Supreme Court of Texas, in that Court in the cause entitled George E. Marshall, etal, vs. City of West University Place. 2. That the compensation of the said Paul Strong for performing said duties and services shall be a fee of Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1500) for his services in the Court of Civil Appeals on such appeal, and if the, cause be carried to the Supreme Court by writ of error or other means from the Court of Civil Appeals an additional sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250) for his services in connection with such proceedings in the Supreme Court of Texas. ' 3. That the employment and compensation herein provided for shall only cover the services of the said Paul Strong in the aforesaid case on the present appeal and does not include his employment or compensation in the event ofhan appeal from the Supreme Court of Texas to any other court nor does it cover his services in the event such case is sent back to the lower court for re- trial, nor does it cover any other services performed by him for the City of West University Place, Texas.
