III OF THE CITY OF WEST UN'IVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, SO AS TO PERMIT TEE SUBDIVISION OF LOT 11, BLOCK 31-, WEST UNIV - ERSITY PLACE FIRST ADDrrION . INTO TWO LOTS OF 50 x 150 FEET EACH; FINDING THAT A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO.' III HAS BEEN DULY AND LEGALLY HELD; APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE REPORTED RECOMMENDATION OF THE ZONING AND PLANNING BOARD THAT 'ORDINANCE NO.lll BE AMENDED SO AS TO PERMrr SAID SUBDIVISION; FINDING THAT ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE SHOULD BE AMENDED SO AS TO PERMIT SUCH SUBDIVISION; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. III PERMrrTING SUCH SUBDIVI;... SION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS; Mr. J. B. Tucker ,has heretofore duly and properly re - quested permission for the subdivision of Lot II, Block 3L, West Universit,y Place First Addition into two lots of 50 x 150 feet each; and WHEREAS, ,the Zoning and Planning Board of the City of West Univer- sityPlace, having considered the said requ~st of Mr.J. B. Tucker, nas submitted its recommendation that the same should be granted subject to a public hearing before the City Commission of said City; and WHEREAS, proper notice of such hearing was given by publication in the Houston Chronicle on March 4, 1959, and notice was mailed to each of the owners of property within 200 feet of the aforesaid lots; and WHEREAS, pursuant to such notice a public hearing was held by the City Commission at the City Hall, 3800 University Blvd., at 7:30 o'clock P.M., Monday, March 23, 1959; and WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that the request of Mr. J. B. Tucker should be granted: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSrry PLACE, TEXAS: Section 1. That the City Commission of th~ City of west University Place hereby finds and determines that all formalities required by Ordinance No. III of said City relative to the request of Mr. J. B. '" J :', Section 2. That the report and reco~endation of the Zoning and Planning Board relative to the re~uest of Mr. J. B. Tucker, be, and it is hereby, approved and adopted. ' Section 3. That Section 24 of Ordinance No. 111 of the City of West University Place, Texas, is he~eby amended by the addition of a sub-paragraph to be known as sub-paragraph No. 34 to read as follows: II (34) Lot 11, Block 31, West, University Place First Addition is hereby subdivided into two lots oj 50 x 150 feet each, provided however, that any improvements placed on such lots shall in all things comply with the existing Ordinances and BUilding Code of the City of West University Place, Texas.1I Section 4. This Ordinance will tate effect and be in force immediately from and after its passage and approval. PASSED AND APPROVED this 11th day of May, 1959.
