WEST UN'IVERSITY PLACE :
SECTION 1. The City of West University Place owns a
drainage ditch, running south from Bellaire Boulevard to Braes Bayou, out
of the P. W. Rose Survey; the City of Houston is desirous of constructing
a public street across said drainage ditch, and is desirous of obtaining
a right-of-way of sufficient width and length for street purposes:
The City Commission hereby approves of dedicating to
the City of Houston for street purposes 7800 square feet out of the P. W.
Rose Survey, as more fully described in the copy of the Dedication Deed
attached hereto for reference.
SECTION 2. The City Commission hereby approves the
form and substance of a Dedication D~ed approved by the City Attorney,

a copy of i'Thich is attached to this 0rdinance for reference. The Mayor
is hereby authorized to execute such Dedication Deed and the delivery of
'it to the City of Houston together with a certified copy of this Ordinance
is hereby authorized. .
SECTION 3. As a convenience for public welfare, there
~xists a public emergency" requiring that this Ordinance be passed on the
date of its introduction" and shall take effect immediately upon its
passage and approval by the City Commission.
