AN ORI?INANOE AME:NDINGSECTIONS 1 .AlIID 2 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 729 WHICH ADOPTED A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
J?EGINNINdJANU.Al:lY 1, 1958, .AND ENDING DECEMBER 31,1958.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS~ '
SECTION 1 - It has been determined upon,examination of the city's
independent Auq.itor,EverettP.G~Ben, Certified Public Accountant, that
certain items in the 1958 budget should be revised; such suggested revision
included in the Auditor's letter of August 21,1958, "which is on file. The
City Commission, after reviewing the recommendation of the AUditor" deems
it to the city's best interest that such revision be made; therefore, the
said 1958 budget is to be hereby amended in accordance with the following:

(a) Tl;tat there be added to i:;heGenera1 Fund the sum of
$45,548.52 as a loan, which sum cis necesa,ary for the construction of a
storage and equipment building with appurtenances for the Street Department.
(b) That .there be added,to the 0General Fund expendi -
tures of the Street Department a capital outlay s~m of $45,,548.52, for the
necessary funds to construct the said Street Department building and appurt -
enances.
, (c) That there be added to the Water-Sewer Fund income
$9,000.00 for repayment of a loan to the General Fund, said repayment being
approximately 1/5 of the amount required for the storage and equipment
building.
(d) That there be added to the Water-Sewer Fund expendi -
tures $45,,548.52 for a loan from the General Fund for the purpose outlined
abov~.

(f) That there be added to the sanitary Sewer Capital
Improvement Fund receipts in the amount of $3,600.00 for repayment of a
loan made for purchase of 75 acres of land.
SECTION 2. - The said City Auditor also re.commended that the budget
reflect the activities of the Garbage and Refilse~Bite Fund' to'show alltrans"
actions of receipts and expenditures; the budget to be amended to show
collection on note rec~ivable amounting to $16,666.66 and interest thereon
of $1,333.33 and rental income of $780.00 for an aggregate of $18,77g.99
and expenditures of note payaqle in the amount of $16,666.66.
This ordinance amending a previous budget ordinance is also authority to
change the totals as shown in Exhibit A of the original budget.
PASSED .AND ADOPTED this the 13th day of Octo r, 1958.
