AN ORDINANCE LEVYING A:ND ASSESSING AN AD VALOREM TAX ON ALL
TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN TEE CORPORATE LIMITS OF TEE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, FOR TEE YEAR 1958, A:ND PROVID-
ING FOR TEE COLLECTION THEREOF.
BE rr ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That there is hereby levied and assessed against all tax-
able property, both personal and real, within the corporate limits of the City
of West University Place, Texas, and there shall b~ collected by such City a
tax of one and seventy-eight one hundredths per cent (1.78%) of the assessed
valuation of such property, or at, the rate of one and seventy-eight one hund-
redths dollars ($1.78) on the one hundred dol~r ($100.00) assessed valuation
for the year 1958.
Section 2. Such tax is hereby levied and assessed in accordance with the terms
and provisions of Section 1 of Article XXI of the City Charter of the City of
West University Place, Texas, and such levy and assessment is made:

Texas, is hereby directed to collect taxes on all of the property, both personal
and real, within the corporate limits of the City of West University Place,
Texas, for the year 1958 at the rate herein provided.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS THE 25TH DAY OF AUGUST" 1958.
