AN ORDINANCE FINDING 1UID DETERMINING THAT EACH AND ALL OF TEE PROCEED-
INGS HAVE BEEN HAD AND ALL THINGS DONE PREREQ,UISITE TO THE HOLDING OF A
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER TEE AMENDING OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF
THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, SO AS TO PERMIT ,TEE RESUBDIVISION OF
LOT NO. 17" BLOCK NO. 16, MONTICELLO ADDITION INTO TWO LOTS, ONE OF
SAID LOTS AS RESUBDIVIDED BEING 60 x 105 F]. .AIm, TltIi: OTHER LOT AS RE-
SUBDIVIDED BEING 50 x 105 FT; FIIilDING THAT' A PUBLIC BEARING FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AN AMElIDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 111 HAS BEEN DULY

OF TEE ZONING 1UID PLANNING BOARD THAT ORDINANCE NO. 111 ,:BE AMENDED SO
AS TO PERMIT THE RESUBDIVISION OF TEE SAID LOTS; FIIilDING THAT ORDINANCE
NO. 111 OF TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE SHOULD BE AMENDED SO AS TO
PERMIT .sUCH RESUBDIVISION; 'AMEl'IDING ORDINANCE NO. 111 RESUBDIVIDING THE
SAID LOT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS" W. B. Langford has heretofore duly and properly requested permission to re-
subdivide Lot; No. 17, Block No. 16, Monticello Addition, West University Place,
Texas, into two lots, one of said lots as resubdivided being 60 x l05 ft. and the
other lot as resubdivided being 50 x 105 ftj and'
WHEREAS, the Zo~ing and Planning Board of the City of West University Place"
having considered'.,the said request of Mr. W. B. Langford, has submitted its re-
C01IlIl1endati,on that the same should be granted subject to a pUblic hearing before
the City Commission of said City; and
H'EEREAS, a public hearing was duly called and had on the said request of Mr. W. B.
Langford on January 14, 1957, fOllowing proper notice of the same in accordance
inth Ordinance No. 111, said public hearing being held in the City Hall of the City
of West University Place; and
WEEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that the request of Mr. W. B.
Langford should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE CITY COMMISSION OF TEE CITY OF 't>1EST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of West University Place hereby
finds and determines that all formalities required by Ordinance No. 111 of said City
re1.ative to the request of Mr. W. B'.' Langford, for an amendment to the said ordin-
ance to permit the resubdi:vision of Lot No. 17, Block No. 16, Monticello Addition,
into two lots, one of said lots as resubdivided being 60 x 105 ft. and the other"of
said lots as resubdivided being 50 x 105 ft., have been duly complied with.
Section 2~ That the report and recommendation of the Zoning and Planning Board, rel-
ative to the request of Mr. W. B., Langford, be, and it is hereby, approved and adopted.
Section. 3." That Section 24 of Ordinance No. 111 of the City of West University Place,

Texas, is hereby amended by the addition of a sub-:paragraph to be known as
sUb-paragraph No. 30 to read as follows:
(30) Lot No. 17, Block No. 16, Monticello Addition is hereby.
resubdivided into two lots, one of sai.d lots as resubdivided
being 50 x 105 ft. and the other of said lots'as resubdivided
being 60 x 105 ft. A resident;i.al structure may be built on each
of the two lots hereby Cieated, provided however, that such
residential building shall in all things comply with the exist-
ing ordinances and also the building code of the City of West
University Place as the same affects lots of like dimensions.
Section 4. This: ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately from
and after its passage and approval. '
