AN ORDINANCE FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT EACH AND ALL OF
THE PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN HAD AND ALL THINGS PREREQUISITE
TO, THE HOLDING OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE AMENDING
OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. III OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSrry
PLACE, TEXAS, SO AS TO PERMIT THE RESUBDIVISION OF THE WEST
ONE -HALF OF Lor 5, BLOCK 19, WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE FIRST
ADDITION; FINDING THAT A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSIDERING AN AMENDMENI' TO ORDINANCE NO. 111 HAS BEEN DULY
AND LEGALLY HELD; APPROVING AND ADOPrING THE REPORT AND
RECOMMENDATION OF THE ZONING AND PLANNING BOARD THAT ORDIN-
ANCE NO. III BE AMENDED SO AS TO PERMIT THE RESUBDIVISION
OF THE SAID Lor; FINDING THAT ORDINANCE NO. III OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE SHOULD BE AMENDED SO AS TO PERJ'UT
SUCH'RESUBDIVISION; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. III RESUBDI-
VIDING THE SAIl? Lor; AND PROVIDING -AN EF~GTIVE DATE'.-'~--
WHEREAS, Mr. 'H. C. Graham, and Mr. T. P. Kelly have 'heretofore duly
and properly reCluested pern1ission to resubdivide the West half of Lot NO.5, Block
19, West University Place First Addition by Mr. T. P. Kelly conveying a strip of
land 5-ft. x 57~ ft. from the Northeast corner of said Lot to Mr. H.C. Graham,
the owner of the West one-half of Lot No.6, Block 19, West University Place First
Addition; and

WEEREAS, the Zoning and Planning Board of the City of West University
Place, having considered the said reCluest of Mr. H. C. Graham and Mr. T. P. Kelly,
has submitted its reconnnendation that the same should be granted subject to a
public hearing before the City Commission of said city;, and ~--:

WHEREAS; the City Commission on June 18, ;1-956 ordered that a,public
hearing on such reCluest be called for July 9, 1956 and following proper notice
of such hearing a public hearing was held on July 9, '1956 in the City mill of the
City of West University Place in accordance with Ordinance No. III of said city; and

, WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that thereCluest of Mr.
H. C. Graham and Mr. T. P. Kelly should be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS: ' -
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of West University Place hereby
finds and determines that all formalities reCluired by Ordinance No. 11101' ~aid
city relative to the reCluest of Mr. H. C. Graham and Mr. T. P. Kell~' for an
amendment to the said Ordinance to permit the resubdivision of the West half of
Lot No~ 5, Block 19, West University Place ,First Addition having been duly
complied with.
Recti on ? - That the report and recommendation of the Zoning and Planning Board
relative to the reCluest of Mr. H. C. Graham and Mr. T. P., Kelly be, and it is

hereby, approved and adopted.
Section 1.' That Section 24 of Ordinance No. 111 of the City of West University
Place, Texas is hereby amended by the addition of a sub-paragraph to ,be known as
sub-par~graph No. 29 to read as follows:
"(29). The West one-half' of Lot~ No. '5, Block 19, West University
Place First Addition, is hereby resubdivided subject to a proper
conveyance whereby Mr. T. P. Kelly shall convey to Mr. H. C. Graham
a strip of land 5 ft. x 57~ ft. out of the Northeast corner of said
Lot and such strip of land is hereby added to and made a part of
the West one-half of Lot No. 6, Block 19, West University Place
First Addition." '
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately from and
after its passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 27th DAY OF AUGUST, 1956.
