AN ORDINANCE FINDING AND DErERMINING THAT EACH AND ALL OF
TEE PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN HAD AND ALL THINGS PREREQUISITE
TO TEE HOLDING OF A PUBLIC BEARING TO CONSIDER THE AMEND-
ING OF ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVER-
SITY PLACE, TEXAS, SO AS TO PERMIT THE, RESUBDIVISION OF
LOT 3, BLOCK 58, WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE SECOND ADDITION INTO
TWO LOTS EACH LOT BEING 75 x 100 FT; FINDING THAT A PUBLIC
BEARING FOR TEE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING AN AMENDMENT TO OR-
DINANcE NO. 111 HAS BEEN DULY AND LEGALLY EELD; APPROVING
AND ADOPrING TEE ;REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF THE ZONING AND
PLANNING BOARD THAT ORDINANCE NO. 111 BE AMENDED SO AS TO
PERMIT TEE RESUBDIVISION OF THE SAID LOT; FINDING THAT OR-
DINANCE NO~ 111 OF TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE SHOULD
BE AMENDED SO AS TO PERMIT SUCH RESUBDIVISION; AMENDING OR-
DINANCE NO. 111 SUBDIVIDING TEE SAID LOT;' AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Truman Bennett has heretofore duly and pro-perly re-
quested -permission to resubdivide Lot NO.3, Block 58, West University Place
S~ond Addition, into two lots, each resubdivided lot being 75 x 100 ft; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning and Planning Board of the City of West Univer-
sity Place, on May 19, 1956 having considered the said request of Mrs.
Truman Bennett, has submitted its recommendation that the same should be
granted subject to a -public hearing before the City Commission of said City; "0
and
WHEREAS, on May 21, 1956 the City Commission directed that said
hearing should be held on June 11, 1956 and -pro-per notice of sa~d hearing
was -published on May 23, 1956; and
WHEREAS, a -public hearing was duly called and had on June 11, 1956
on the said request of Mrs. Truman Bennett following -pro-per notice of the
same in accordance with Ordinance No. 111 of the City of West University
Place in the City Hall of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is of the opinion that the request
of Mrs. Truman Bennett should be granted.
NO"vJ', THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Commission of the City of West University Place
hereby finds and determines that all formalities required by Ordinance No. 111
of said City relative to the request of Mrs. Truman Bennett for an amendment
to the said Ordinance to permit the resubdivision of Lot NO.3, Block No. ,58,
West University Place Second Addition, into two lots 75 x 100 ft. each,
having been duly complied with.
Section 2: That the re-port and recommendation of the Zoning and Planning
Board relative to the request of Mrs. Truman Bennett be, and it is hereby,
a-p-proved and ado-pted.

Sel2tion 3: That Section 24 of' Ordinance No. 111 of' the City of'.West University
Place, Texas is hereby amended by the addition of a sub-paragraph to be known
as sub-par/?-graph No., 28 to read as follows:
11(28) Lot No. 3 in~Block No. 58, West University Place
Second Addition, is hereby resubdivided into two lots,
75 x 100 f't. each. One of said lots shall f'ront on
Buffalo Speedway and the other of said lots shall front
on Georgetown Street. it

Section 4: This ordinance shall take eff'ect and be in force immediately from
