ORDI:AANCE NO. 702
AN ORDINANCE FINDING TEE :NECESSITY FOR AND CREATING
A :NEW FUND TO BE KNOWN AS TEE GARBAGE AND REFUSE
DISPOSAL SITES SPECIAL FUND.

WBEREAS it has been determined by th~ City Commission of the
City of West University Place, that it is .desirable and necessary to create
a new fund for the acquisition of a larger and more desirable~tract of.
land to be used for a garbage and refuse disposal: site:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COIYlMISSION OF TEE CITY
OF 'WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. There is hereby created a n~w fund to be known as the
Garbage and Refuse Disposal Sites Special Fund. Sa1dFund is to be used as
a fund with which to purchase a tract of land to be used for the purpose of
a garbage and refuse disposal site. Such sums of money as are necessary
to acquire the tract of land shall be deposited in and withdrawn from said
Fund as the City Commission of the City of West University Place may
direct.
Section 2. The necessity for the purchase of such a garbage and
refuse disposal site being imperative and the necessity for creating the
Fund hereby created being immediately necessary, this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the
City Commission and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS TEE 12TH DAY OF MARCH, 1956.
