ORDINANCE NO. 666
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE DRILLING OF WATER WELLS UPON
PRIVATE PREMISES WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE,
TEXAS; PRESCRIBING A PENALTY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECT-
IVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS:

Section 1. That f'rom and af'ter the effective date hereof' it shall be unlawful
for any f'irm, person, or corporation to drill or undertake to drill or cause
to b~ drilled or undertaken to be drilled a water well or wells upon any
privately owned property within the City of West University Place.
Section 2. That any firm, person, or corporation violating any,provision
of' this Ordinance shall be fined not less than Twenty-f'ive (25) nor more than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200) for each such of'fense.
Section ~. That this Ordinance shall become ef'f'ective and be in force from
and af'ter its date of'passage and apP!oval.
