AN ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING AN ADVALQREM: TAX
ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR.'

Section I. That there is hereby levied and assessed against all
taxable property, both personal and real, within the corporate limits of the
City of West University Place, Texas, and there shall be collected by such
city a tax of one and seventy-eight one hundredths percent (1.78%) of the
assessed valuation of such property, or at the rate of One and seventy-eight
one hundredths Dollars {$1.78) ,on the One Hundred Dollar ($100.00) assessed
valuation for the year 1951...

with the terms and provisions of Section 1 of Article XXI of the City Charter
of the City of West Uni versi ty Place, Texas, and such levy and assessment is
made:
(A) For the upkeep and maintenance of the Department of 0
