West University Place',' Texa.s~eertified to the City Commtssion
by his Treasury Certificate No. 55, that there is nowtn;,')to.e:gity
National Ban~ of Houston, Texas to the credit of the Sanitary-Sewer
Capital ~.~en:t~ Fund the sum. of $500.00, which is now available
for appropriation by the City Commission, and which sum is suf-
ficient to pay th,e City's additional cost of construction: of a. wet
well a.tthe exist'lng sanitary sewer lift plant at the corner of
Rutgers stree:t and University Boulevard:'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of
the fund in the City National Bank of Houston, Texa,sto'i;he credit
of the Sanitary Sewer Capi tal:Ilnpro3Tament Fruld ~ the s11D1of'$50(j~ O-c>
to pay the City's additional cost of
Construction of a we't well at the' ex1sting sanitary ,
sewer lift'plant at the corner of Rutgers Street
and Unl~versity Boulevard, in the City of West
University Place, Texas,
and the Mayor and City Treasurer are hereby autht>:tized to draw
warrant, or warrants, against said fund hereby appropriated, or
such portion, or portions, th~reof as may be necessary to pay and
discharge the obligaWions of the City of West University Place,
Texas, chargeable thereto.
Section 2. The maintenance and repair of said sanitary
sewer and the lift plan.t and wet well appurtenant thereto, located
at the corner of Rutgers Street and University Boulevard in the
City of West University Place, Texas, being a matter vital to
public health, and the need for,which creates a public emergency,
this ordinance shall be passed finally on the date of its intro-
duction,this the 23rd day of April, A. D. 1951, immediately upon
its pass~ge and approval by the Mayor.
