'.. -c.. . -,' : AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $584.72 OUT OF THE1JfATER-SEWER OPERATING FUND IN THE CITY TREASURY TO PAY THE CITY'S ADDITIONAL COST OF CONSTRUCTION OF APPROX- IMATELY 460 LINEAL FEET OF 12 INCH CAST IRON SANITARY SEWER WITH MECHANICAL JOINTS ON WESLAYAN STREEl' FROM WESLAY.AN LIFT STATION SOUTH TO THE MANHOLE IN CASE STREET, WITH APPURTENANCES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, 'the City Treasurer has duly and regularly, in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City of West University Place, Texas, certifi~d to the City Commission that there is in the City Treasury and to the credit of the Water-8ewer Operating Fund the sum of $584.72 which has not been already appropriated for any other purpose, and which is now available for appropriation by the City Commission, and which sum is sufficient to pay'the City's additional cost of construction of approximately 46Glineal feet of 12 inch cast iron sanitary sewer with mechanical joints from Weslayan Lift Station South to the manhole in Case Street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the fund in the City Treasury to the credit of the Water-Sewer Operating Fund the sum of $584.72 to pay the City's additional cost of: The construction of approximately 460 lineal feet of 12 inch cast iron sanitary sewer with mechanical joints on Weslayan Street from the Weslayan Lift Station Sp'uth to the manhole in Case Street" with appurtenances; , v and the Mayor and City Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw warrant or warrants against said fund hereby appropriated, or such portion or portions thereof as may be necessary to pay and discharge the obligations of the City of West University Place, Texas, chargeable thereto. Section 2. The maintenance and repair of said sanitary sewer being a matter vital to public health and the need for which creates a public emergency, this Ordinance shall be passed finally on the date of its intro- duction, this the 26th day of March, A. D. 1951, <ind'?!3hall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. PASSED this the 26th day of March, A. D. 1951.
