I I 1 " l38 :ORDINANCE NO. 551 AN ORDINANCE REDEFINING THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS; ORDERING THE PUBLICATION OF THE FIRE LIMITS AS HEREIN DEFINED; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY . WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of West University Place, Texas, has heretofore prescribed and defined certain fire limits ivithin which buildings and structures. are to be constructed and erected in accordance with the terms, provisions and limitations set forth in Sections 3 to 29, inclusive, of the City Building Code; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of West University Place, Texas, has found and determined that it is to t~e public interest to re-define and to extend the fire limits of the City of West University Place so as to include certain additional areas not now within the prescribed fire limits but which areas are the sites of commercial buildings, or are,areas within the Retail Business District as defined in the Zoning .Ordinances of the City of West University Place; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITX COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 'WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS: Section I. It is hereby found and determined that it is to the public interest of the citizens of the City of Wes~ University Place, Texas, to re-define and extend the fire limits of the City of West University Place so as to include certain additional areas not now vTithin the prescribed fire limits. Section 2. The following areas, hereinafter described by metes and bounds, shall be ,and are hereby declared to be the fire limits within the City of Nest University Place, Texas: FIRE LIMITS ZONE NO. I BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 30, Cambridge Place, THENCE in a westerly direction along the North line of Bellaire Boulevard to the Northeast corner of Bellaire Boulevard and Academy, THEU~CE in a northerly direction along the East line of Academy Street, a distance of 389.43 feet, more or less, said point being in the South line of Block 2, Cunningham Terrace; THENCE in an easterly direction along the North line of Cambridge Place, a distance of 889.4 feet, more or less, to the Northeast corner of Lot 30, Cambridge Place; THENCE in a southerly direction along the East line of Lot 30, Cambridge Place 374.52 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. r--) I I I I .
