AN ORDINANCE AurHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS ,TO OFFER FOR AND ON BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS A STANDING
REVlARD OF TwO HUNDRED ($200.00) DOLLARS FOR THE ARREST
AND CONVICTION OF ANY PERSON OR PERSONS GUILTY OF ARSON
COMMITTED IN TEE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS;
REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES WITH LIKE SUBJECT MATTER,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF .WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the Mayor of the City of West University Place,
Texas:, is hereby authorized to offer for and on behalf of the City of ~Vest
University Place, Texas a standing reward of Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars
payable to the person or persons who shall be responsible for,the arrest and.
conviction of any person or persons guilty of arson committed in the City of
West University Place, Texas.
Section 2. That all prior ordinances covering the subject matter
of this ordinance and all prior ordinances or any part or parts thereof that
are in conflict herewith shall be, and the same are hereby, repealed.

Section 1. For the protection of public and private property
the immediate passage of this ordinance is a matter of imperative public
necessity and constitutes an emergency, and therefore this Ordinance shall
become effective immediately upon its passage, approyal by the Mayor and
publication as required by law.
