ORDINANCE NO. 531
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. III OF THE CITY AF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, BY AMEWING SECTION 18 THEREOF
CONCERNING THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION OF D1.IlJELLINGS IN THE
FOURTH SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
'REPEAL OF ANY AND ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT' HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED .BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section I. That Section 18 of Ordinance No. III be, and is
hereby amended, supplemented, and changed so as to add a new sub-section
to Section 18 of said ordinance to be known as Sub-section I-A which shall
read as follows:
(I-A) Provided, however, that a single family dwelling may be
constructed on Lot Six (6), Block Six (6), of Tangley Terrace
Addition, an additiqn to' the City of West University Place,
Texas, of brick veneer or stucco within the definition of that
term hereinabove given or asbestos siding.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and approval.

Section 3. All ordinances in conflict herewith insofar as the,r
do conflict, are hereby repealed.
PASSED AND APPROVED this lIth day of August, 1950, by a vote of
5 AYES and 0 NOES.
