ORDINANCE NO. ~IO
AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR AND AUTHO-
RIZING THE ENLARGING AND WIDENING OF CERTAIN STREET
INTERSECTIONS ~VITH THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE,
TEXAS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS NECESSARY FOR THE PER-
. FORMANCE OF THE WORK INVOLVED IN SUCH PROJECT.
WHEREAS, there has been heretofore submitted to the City Com-
mission of the City of West University Place, Texas, certain plans and
specifications for the enlargin~ and widening of the intersections of
Auden Street, Sunset Boulevard, and Richmond Road, within the City of
West University Place, Texas, and also the enlarging and widening of
the intersections of Buffalo Speedway and Rice Boulevard within the City
of West University Place, Texas, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission of the
City of West University Place, Texas, and is further hereby determined
that it is necessary for such enlarging and widening of such inter-
sections to be done and performed, and
WHEREAS, as shawn by Treasury Certificate No. 45, ,dated the
27th of March, 1950, in the sum of Eight Hundred ($800.00) Dollars,
there are funds available from the 1946 Street and Bridge Bond Fund
Account to pay for said enlarging and widening of such intersections;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
'CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
That there exists a necessity for the enlargin and widening
of the intersections of Auden Street, Sunset Boulevard, and Richmond
Road, and also the intersection of.Rice Boulevard and Buffalo Speedway,
all within the City of West University Place, Texas.
II.
Authorization for enlarging and widening said intersections
above named is hereby granted.
III.
There is hereby appropriated the sum of Eight Hundred ($800.00)
Dollars from the 1946 Street and Bridge Bond Fund Account for the per-
formance, of said work.
PASSED AND APPROVED this lOth day of April, 1950, by a vote of
5 AYES and 0 NOES..
