AN ORDINANCE .APPROVINGA ,BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS, FOR A SIXTEEN MONTH PERIOD BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1,
1949 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1950; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIA-
, TION OF PUBLIC FUNDS OF THE CITY FOR USE AND EXPENDITURES; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREW7TH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF W'EST UNIVER-
SITY l?LACE, TEXAS:

That the budget of the City of West University Place for a six~
teen month period beginning September 1, 1949 and ending December 31, 1950
an exact copy of which is attached hereto, marked "Exhibit An and made a
part hereof for all purposes, is hereby adopted as the budget of the City
for said sixteen month period.

That there is hereby appropriated out of the public funds and
monies of the City of West University Place, Texas, such sum and sums, or
any part thereof as may be authorized and directed by the City Commission
to be paid by the City for the uses and purposes set forth in the said
-: budget.

That all ordinances and parts of ordinarl.ces in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed, insofar as such conflicts exist only.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of August, A.D. 1949, by a vote
of 5 ayes and 0 noes.
