ORDINANCE NO. 468
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 463, PASSED AND APPRO~ 'l
MAY 10, 19h9, 'PROVIDING FOR, AUTHORIZING AND DmECTING CERTAIN
AMENDMENTS AND CHANGES IN THE NOVEMBER ,22, 1948 CONTRACT BETWEEN ~
THE CITY AND BROGAN & WILLIAMS WITH REFERENCE TO CERTAIN PORTIONS.
OF MILTON STREET, RICE BOULEVARD AND COLLEGESTREETj AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 463 was passed and. approved May 10, 1949
providing for certain changes in the November 22, 1948 contract between- the
City and Brogan & Williams with. reference to portions of Milton Street, Rice
Boulevard and College Street; and
WHEREAS, certain items of expense were inadvertently omitted from
said ordinance, rende~ing the passage of a further and different ordtnance
advisable;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF. THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. h63, passed and approveo. May 10, 1949,
authorizing and directing certain amendments and changes in the Nove~ber 22,
1948 contract between the'City and Brogan & Williams with reference to certain
portions of Milton Street, Rice' Boulevard and College Street, be and the
same is hereby in all things repealea.
. Section 2. The fact that a further and,~differentordinance is ~'ad-
Visable creates a public emergency and' therefore' this ordinance shall be .
passed finally on the date of its introduction, this the 27th day of June,
1949, 'and shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval by the
Mayor.
