AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE TERMs OF THE MAY 3rd, 1948, CONTRACT
BETWEEN ~HE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS AND BROGAN AND
WILLIAMS RELATIVE TO THE PAVING OF CERTAIN STREET INTERSECTIONS
WITHIN THE LIMI'lS OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, heretofore on or about May 3rd, 1948, the City of West
University Place, Texas, and Brogan and Williams contractors, entered into
a certain contract whereby certain designated street intersections within
the limits of said city were to be paved ~n accordance wi th the terms and
conditions of said contract and,
WHEREAS, it is desired by both parties to said contract to provide
that the intersection of Marquette and College Streets is to be paved in
lieu of the intersection of 'Fairhaven and Ruskin Streets, and that there
should be an allocation of,funds to effect, this substitution, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Commission of the City of West University
Place, Texas, that the contract heretofore entered into between the City of
West University Place, Texas and Brogan and Williams, $,ted May 3rd, 1948,
be and the same is hereby changed so as to provide for' the paving of the in-,
tersection of Marquette and College Streets in lieu of the previously autho-
rized paving of the intersection of Fairhaven and Ruskin Streets.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the necessary funds heretofore allo-
cated and designated for the payment of the cost of paving the intersection
of Fairhaven and Ruskin Streets be and the same are hereby made available
arid desigriatedfor the cost of the paving of the intersection of Marquette
and College Streets.
PASSED and APPROVED this 23rd day of May, 1949, by a vote of 5 ayes
and 0 noes. .
