AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR, AUTHORIZING, AND DIRECTING CERTAIN J
'\ AMENDMENTS AND CHANGES. IN THE NOVEMBER 22nd, 1948 CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF WEST UNIVEt\SITY PLACE, TEXAS AND BROGAN AND WILLIAMS, :._
CONTRACTOR, WITH REFERENCE TO THE PAVING OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF'
MILTON STREET, RICE BOULEVARD.AND COLLEGE STREET INTERSECTION~L
AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE INCORPORATION OF SAID CHANGES
AS PART OF; SAID CONTRACT WITH BROGAN AND WILLIAMS.

WHEREAS, heretofore the City Commission of the City of West
University Place; 'Texas, has authorized as a change to that certain contract
dated November 22nd, ~1948, bE!ltween the City of West University Place, Texas,
and Brogan and Williams, relating to the paving' of certain portions of Mil ton
Street, Rice Boulevard and College Street, the paving- of certain portions of
Colleg~ Street not described in said contract; and
WHEREAS, the paving of said additional portion of College Street
not described in said contr~ct, has been accomplished at a considerable sav-
ing to the ,City of City of West University Place, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission of the City of
West University Place, Texas and Brogan and Williams to incorporate in said
contract a provision authorizing the pavement of an area not described in
the original contract; to-wit, the 6200 B-lock of College Street, now there-

BE- IT CRDAINED by theCitj Commission of'the City of West University
, Place, Texas,' that a field change in the contract entered into by the City
oj.' West University Place, Texas, and Brogan and Williams, dated November 22nd,
1948, ,is hereby authorized and approved in such a manner as to authorize 'the
paving of the 6200 Block of College Street and So as to increase the sum
payable by the City of Wes t Uni versi ty Place, Texas, to Brogan and Williams
in ,the sum of $601.80.
