AN. ORDINANCE LEVYING AND ASSESSING AD VALOREM TAX ON ALL
TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE,
TEXAS, FOR THE YEAR 1948, AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That there is hereby levied and assessed against all taxable pro-
perty within the corporate limits of the city of West University Place, Texas,
: and there shall be collected by such City a tax of 1.78 percent of, the value of
such property or at the rate of One and 78/100'Dollars on the One~Hundred Dollar
($100.00) valuation for,the year 1948.

That such tax is levied and assessed'and shall be c01~ected by said
City for the following purposes an.d,in the following proportions, to-wit:
For the upkeep and maintenance of the
Department of Health and Sanita~ion
Current Expenses and Oper~tions
Sanitary Sewer Bonds, Series 1942
Storm Sewer Bonds, Series 1942
Storm Sewer Bonds, Series 1941
Civic Center Bonds, Series 1941
Refunding Bonds, Series 1936
Warrants, Series 1936
Fire Fighting Bonds, Series 1946
Street Paving Bonds, Series 1946
Storm Sewer Bonds, Series 1946
Public Park Bonds, Series 1946
Refunding Bonds, Series 1945
Street Paving Bonds" Series 1948
Storm Sewer Bonds, Series 1948
Garbage Disposal Bonds, Series 1948
