AN ORDINANCE APPROPF.IATING THE SUM OF $2,261.08 OUT OF THE STOR.M SEINER BOlID FUND
OF 1946, $450.00 OUT OF THE STREET PAVIl-JG AND BRIDGE BOND FUNlD OF 1946, AND $420.
52 OUT OF THE GENERAL FUlID, IN THE CITY TREASURY TO PAY THE COST O!F CONSTRUCTION
OF STORM SEWERS AND APPURTENANCES IN THE 3800 BroCK OF MARLOWE STREET, IN THE
CITY aFWEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, AND mCLARING AN EMERGENCY.
w:HEREAS, it has been certified that there is in the City Treasury of the
City of West University Place the follo'\rl.ng amounts remaining unappropriated:

Street Paving and Bridge Bond Fund of 1946

said funds being now available for appropriation by the City Connnission, and are
sufficient to pay the cost of construction of Stenn Sewers and Appurtenances in
the 3800 Block of Marlowe Street, in the City of West University Place, Texas;

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY Cm.!iMISSIOlN OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $3,131.60 to pay
for the construction of Stann Sewers and Appurtenances in the 3800 Block of
Marlow Street.
Section 2. That said sum of $3,131.60 is hereby appropriated out of the
following funds:
Storm Sewer Bond F?Jld of 1946
Street Paving and Bridge Bond Fund of 1946

in said City Tre~sury; and the Mayor and City Treasurer are hereby authorized
to draw warra:q.t, or warrants against said fund in said sum of $3,131.6o or such
portion or portions "tmreof. as may be necessary to pay and discharge the
obligations of the City of West University Place chargeable thereto.
Section 3. The fact that the stonn sewer and appurtenances in the 38(0)
Block of Marlowe must be constructed in order not to hold up the paving program
creates a public emergency, and, therefore, this ordinance shall be passed
finally on the date of its introduction, this 7th day of JUJle, 1948, and shall
take effect:i:mm.edia:teq upon its passage and approval of the Mayor.
