AN ORDINANCEAFPBOPRIATING THE SUM OF $3$,,000.00 OUT OF
tHE FUND TO THE OREDIT (F STREET PAVING .AND BRIDGE 001100,
1946, IN THE CITY TREASURY TO PAY THE CITY'S PART OF THE
COST OF PAVING AND DlPROVING:
RICE BOULEVARD from West Line of KIRBY
DRIVE to West Line of BEImNT STREET;
and
WAKEFOREST STREET from the North Line
of RICE BOULEVARD to the North Li!l$
of PLUMB STREEf"
AND DECLARING ANEJlERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Oi ty Treasurer has, d~ and regu].arly,
in accordance, 'With the provisions of the, Charter of the CitY' of West '
University Place, Texas" certified to the City 'Commission that there is'in the
City Treasu17 to the credit ot the StreetPaviilg and Bridge Bonds, 1946, the
sum of $35,000.00 which has not been already appropriated for any, other purpose
and 1Ih:ich is now available for appropriation by' the City, Commission, and is
sufficient to pq the Cityt s part of the cost of paving and improvingcert&in
streets in the City of West University Place" Texas" hereinafter set forth;

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COmnsSION OF THE CITY OF WEST, UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS: '
Section 1. That there is hereDy'appropriated the sum of $3$,000.00
to pq the ~ityts part ot the cost of paving and improving: '
RICE BOULEVARD from West Line of KIRBY DRIVE TO West Line of
BEUI)NT STREET: and
WAKEFOREST STREET from the North Line of RICE BOULEVARD to the
North Line of PLUMB STREET. '
Section 2. That said sum of $3$,000.00 is hereby appropriated out
of the fund to the credit of street?aving and Bridge Bonds ,1946, in tile said
Oity Treasury; and the )(qor and Oity Treasurer are hereby authOrized t9, draw
warrant ,or warrants against said fund in said sum of $35,000.00 ors'uchportion
or portions thereof as my be necessary to PSlY and diScharge the obligations Of
the City of West, University Place chargeable thereto.
