AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NOl. 255, KNOWN AS THE "DOG ORDINANCE"
Bit AMENDING ARTICLE 6'1 TO PROlVIDE FOR A $.50 FEE FOR EACH DAY ANIMALS
ARE KEPT AT THE CITY POUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVER-
SITY PLACE, TEXAS:
That Ordinance No. 255 be amended by amending Article 6 to read as fOl10ws,:
Article 6. Right to redeem; conditions: The owner of arry dog impounded
as aforesaid, or as herein provided, shall have the right to redeem same upon
payment to the poundmaster of the suin of Two ($2.00) Dollars for each animal
so' redeemed, in addition to the tax or fine, if arry. In addition to ..the fee
above provided the owner shall be required to pay $.50 per day for each day
the animal is impounded to help defer the expense of feeding such animal.
The sum so paid to the poundmaster shall be paid by him into the City Treasury.
