AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING AND LEVYING A CHARGE FOR EACH CON-'''''
NECTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY VVITHrN THE CORPORATE LIMITS,.oF
THE CIn OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, iiVITH THE SANITARY
SEWERS OF SAID CITY; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ARE REPEALED; PROVIDING
IF ANY SECTION OR PART OF THIS ORDINANCE BE DECLARED UNCON-
STITUTIONAL OR INVALID, IT SHALL NOT AFFECT OTHERS PARTS
THEREOF; PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TARE EFFECT
AND BE IN FORCE ON AND AFTER :MARCH 11 A. D. 1946.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
SECTI ON 1
There is hereby assessed and levied a charge of seventy five
cents ($0.75) per month for each and every connection of private
property with the sanitary sewers of the City of West University
Place, Texas, located within the cqrporate limits of the City., This
said charge shall be paid each month by the owner or person in poss- '!~I
ession of any and all such premises to the City Secretary of the
City of West University Place at the City Hall thereof, said charge ~J
to be due and payable on the first day of each and every month.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordi~nce are hereby repealed.
SECTIO N' 3
If this Ordinance, or any part thereof, shall be adjudged in-
valid or held unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the valid-
ity of any"other part or provisions thereof other than the part so
decided or held to be invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 4
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force on and after
Mar ch ll, 1946.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 11 day of March A. D., 1946.
