AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PIA CE, TEXAS, BY ANNEXInG TO THE
<,,-CITY CERTAIN ADDITIONAL LAND AND TERRITORY; DESCRIB-
ING THE L4.ND AND TERRITORY SO ANNEXED; AIID PROVIDING

SECTION I
That the boundary limits of the City of West University
-Place, Texas, are hereby extended so as to embrace the following des-
cribed area of land:
Beginning at a point where the west right of way line of '
the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company's Eureka-Stella
Cutoff intersects the south right of way line of the
T & NOR R Co.'s old S A & A P line, said point of begin-
ning being a point in a city limit line of an area annexed
by Ordinance No. 300 passed and approved by the City
Comrnission of the City of West University Place at b:43
o'clock P. M. on the 3lst day of December, A. D. 1945;

Thence in an easterly direction along the south right of
way line of the said T & NOR R Oo.'s old S A & A P line
to a point where the east line of the cl. S. Dozier Sub-
division intersec,ts the said' sou th right of way line of the
T & NOR R Co.'s old S A & A P line, said point also being
a point in the city limit line of the City of Houston;
Thence north along the east line of the said cl. S. Dozier
Sub-division to the south line of West Alabama Avenue;
Thence west along the south line of West Alabama Avenue to
a point where the south line of West Alabama Avenue, if
produced westerly, would intersect with the west right of
way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s Eureka-Stel~a Cutoff line;
Thence in a southerly direction along the west right of
way line of theT & NOR R Co.' s Eureka-Stella Cutoff l:i,.ne
to the point of beginning.

The area bounded by the above and foregoing metes and bounds
is marked "Section H" and outlined in red color on a map
marked "Exhibit A" attached to Ordinance No. 30.0 passed and
~pproved by the City Commission of the City of West University
Jlace at 6:43 o'c1ockP. M. on the 31st day of December, LJ

A. D. 1945, and the above and foregoing notes of metes and
bounds are intended to circumscribe and include all the area
enclosed within the area outlined in red and marked "Section
H" on the map marked "Exhibit All attached to Ordinanre No. 300.

That the boundary limits of the City of West University Place,
Texas, are here declared to be extended by the annexation to the City
of the hereinabove described land and territory.
SJECTIODT III
That on and after the passage and approval of this ordinance,
the inhabitants of the territory hereby Bnnexed shall be entitled to
all of the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of West
University Place, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances,
resolutions and regulations of the said City of West University Place,
Texas.
SECTION IV
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force on and
after December 31, A. D. 1945.
PASSED, ORDAINED and APPROVED this 3lst day of December, A. D.
1945, at 7:20 o'clock P. M.
