AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF VillST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, BY ANJ\TEXING TO THE
CITY CERTAIN ADDITIONAL LAND AJ\m TERRITORY; DES-
CRIBING THE LA}.'l) AND TERRITORY SO AlvTNEXED; AND PRO-
VIDING VffiEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAIJ:iIH:D BY TEE CITY C011J]\~ISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That the boundary limits of the City of West University
Place, Texas, are hereby extended so as to embrace the following
described area of land:
Beginning at a point where the west right of way line of
the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company's Eureka-Stella
Cutoff line intersects the south right of way line of
the T & NOR R Co.'s old SA & A P line, said point of
beginning being a point in a city limit line of an area
annexed by Ordinance No. 300 passed and approved by
the City Commission of the City of West University Place
at 6:43 o'clock P. M. on the 3lst day of December, A. D.
1945;

Thence in a westerly direction along the south right of
way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s old S A & A P line to
the east property line of Avenue E;
Thence in a northerly direction along the northern'pro-
longation of the east line of Avenue E to' a point where
the east line of Avenue E, if produced northerly, would
intersect the south line of Westheimer Road;
Thence in an easterly direction along the south line of
Westheimer Road to the northeast corner of the James Bute
Estate, et aI, l8~86'acre tract;
Thence south along the east line of the James Bute Estate,
et al, 18~86 acre tract, to the south line of the Old Texas
Western N~rrowGauge Railway right of way;
Thence in an easterly direction along the south right of
way line of ,the Old Texas Western Narrow Guage Railway to the
west right of way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s Eureka- .
Stella Cutoff line;
Thence south along the west right of way line of the T & N 0
R R Co.' s Eureka-Stella Cutoff tine to the point of beginning.
The area bounded by the above and foregoing metes and bounds
is marked rlSection Gtt and outlined in blue color on a map

1945, A. D., and thenabove and foregoing notes of metes and
bounds are intended to circumscribe and include all the area
enclosed within the area outlined in blue and marked nSection
G" on the map marked "Exhibit All attgched to Ordinance No. 300.
SECTION TT
That the boundary limits of the City of West University Place,
Texas, are here declared to be extended by the annexation to the
City of the hereinabove described land and territory.

Tha t on and after the passage and approval of thd:s ordinance,
the inhs bitant s of the territory hereby annexed shall be en ti tIed
to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of
West University PIa ce, Texas,' and shall be bound by the acts, ord in-
ances, resolutions and regulations of the said City of West University
PIa ce, Texas.

That this ordinance shall take effect a nd be in force on and
after December 31, A. D. 1945. '
