AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLA.CE, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING TO THE
CITY CERTAIN ADDITIONAL LA1~ AND TERRITCRY; DES-
CRIBING THE LAND AND TERRITORY SO ANNEXED; AJ\1D

BE IT ORDAINED BY THS; CITY Cmi~!IISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That the boundary limits of the City of West University
Place, Texas, are hereby extenddd so as to embrace the following
described area of land:
Beginning at a point where the west right of way line of
the Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company's Eureka-Stella
Cutoff intersects the center line of Brays Bayou, said
point of beginning being a point in a city limit line of
an area annexed by Ordinance No. 302 passed and approved
by the City Commission of the City of West University Place
at 6:54 o'clock P. M. on the 3lst day of December, A. D.

Thence in an easterly direction along the center line of
Brays Bayou with all its meanders to a point where the
center line of Brays Bayou intersects the east right of
way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s Eureka-Stella Cutoff;
Thence in a southerly direction along the east right of
way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s Eureka-Stella Cutoff
line, its curves and tangents, to a point where the said east
right of way line of the T & NOR R Co;'s Eureka-Stella
double tract line intersects, or joins, the north right of
way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s G H & S A Harrisburg line;
Thence in a southwesterly direction along a continuation
of the north right of way line of the T & NOR R Co.' s
G H & S A Harrisburg line to a point where the said north
right of way line of the T & N OR R Co~'s G H & S A Harris-
burg line intersects the east property line of Post Oak Road;
Thence in a northerly direction along the east line of Post
Oak Road, its curves and tangents, to a point where the east
line of Post Oak Road intersects the south line of Cypress
Street;

Thence in an easterly direction along the south property
line of Cypress Street to a point where the south property
line of Cypress Street, if produced in an easterly direction,

would intersect the west right of way line of the T & N 0
R R Co.'s Eureka-Stella Cutoff line;
Thence in a southerly direction along the west right of way
line Of the T & NOR R Co.'s Eureka~Stella Cutoff line to
the point of beginning.
The area bounded by the above and foregoing metes and bounds
is marked nSection Fit and outlined in red color on a m?p
marked f1Exhibit Aft attached to Ordinance No. 300 passed
and approved by the City Commission of the City of West
University Place at 6:43 o'clock P. M. on the 3lst day of
December, A. D. 1945, and t,he above and foregoing notes of
metes and bounds are intended to circumscribe and include all
the area enclosed within the area outlined in red and marked
rlSection Fit on the map marked ftExhibit A" attached to Ordinance
No. 300.
SECTIO DT II
That the boundary limits of the City of West University Place"
Texas, are here declared to be extended by the annexation to the City
of the hereinabove described land and territory.
S~CTro DT III
That on and after the passage and approval of this ordinance,
the inhabitants of the territory hereby annexed shall be entitled to
all of the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of
West University Place, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts, ordin-
ances, resolutions and regulations of the said City of West University
'Pla ce, Texas.

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force on and
after December 31, A. D. 1945.
PASSED, ORDAINED and APPROVED this the 31st day of December,
A. D. 1945, at 7:11 o'clock P. M.
