AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, BY ANJ\1EXING TO THE CITY
CERTAIN ADDITIONAL LAND AND 'TERRITORY; DESCRIBING THE
LAND AND TERRITORY SO ANl\TEXED; AJ\TD PROVIDING WHEN TillS
ORDINANCE SHALL BEC01m EFFECTIVE.

BE IT ORDAI1TED BY THE CITY COMl1iISSION 0F THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE TEXAS:
SECTION I
That the boundary limits of the City of West University Place,
Texas, are hereby extended so as to embrace the follovnng described
area of land:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Brays Bayou
intersects the west line of Main street, said point of be-
ginning being a point in a city limit line of an area annexed
by Ordinance No. 303 passed and approved by the City Commis-
sion of the City of West University Place at 6:59 o'clock
P. M. on the 31st day of December, A. D. 1945;
Thence in an easterly direction along the center line of Brays II i,D'
Bayou, which center line of Brays Bayou is the'city limit
line of the City of Houston, to a point where the center line
of Brays Bayou intersects the west line of Old Main street
Road;
Thence in a southerly direction along the west line of Old
Main'Street Road to a point where the west line of Old Main
Street Road would, if produced soythward, intersect the west
line of Knight Road;
Thence in a southerly direction along the west line of Knight
Road to the north right of way line of the Texas & New Orleans
Railroad Company's G H & S A Harrisburg line;
Thence in a southwesterly direction along the north right of
way line of the T & NOR R Cp.fS G H & S A Harrisburg line
to a-point where the said north right of way line of the
T & NOR R Co.'s G H & S A Harrisburg line intersects the
west line of Main street, also known as Highway 90;
'rhence in a northeasterly direction along the we st line of
Main Street, or Highway .90, following its curves and tangents
to the point of beginning. '
The area bounded by the above and foregoing metes and bounds 0
is marked "Section E" and outlined in red color on a map
marked "Exhibit A" attached to Ordinance No. 300 passed and
approved by the CityCoF~ission of the City of West University

Place at 6:43 o'clock P. M. on the 31st day of December, A.D.
1945, and the above and roregoing notes or metes and bounds
are intended to circumscribe and include all the area en-
closed within the area outlined in red and marked tfSection
E" on the map marked ItExhibit An attached to Ordinance No. 300.
SEC'f'ION II
That the boundary limits or the City of West University Place,
Texas, are here declared to be extended by the annexation to the City
of the hereinabove described land and territory.
SECTIO N III
That on and after the passage and approval of this ordinance,
the inhabitants of the territory hereby annexed shall be entitled
to all of the rights and privileges or other citizens of the City~f
West University Place, Texas, and' shall be bound by the acts, ordin-
ances, resolutions and regulations or the said City or West University
Place, Texas.
