AN DRDINANCE :H:XTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, BY Ac'\ITIJEX-
ING TO 1'lIE CITY CERTAIN ADDITIONAL LAND AND
TERRITORY; DESCRIBING THE LAND At-ID TERRITORY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO:MIY.rISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVE~SITY PLACE, TEXAS: ~
SECTION ~
That the boundary limit:.s of the City of .W'est University Place,
Texas, are hereby extended so as to embrace the following described
area' of land:
Beginning at a point where the west property line of Kirby
Drive, if produced in a southerly direction, would intersect
the center line of Brays Bayou, the said point being a corner
in the city lirdt line of the Cityuof HQuston, Texas, the
said point of beginning also being a poirt on a city limit
line of an area annexed by the City Commission of the City
of West University Place by Ordinance No. 302 passed and l[j
approved at 6:54 o'clock P. M. on the 31st day of December,
1945 A. D.,
Thence in an easterly direction following the center line
of Brays Bayou with all of its meanders to a point where
the center line of Brays Bayou intersects the west prop-
erty line of Main Street,
Thence in a southwesterly direction along the west property
line of Main Street, also known as Highway 90, to a point
where the west line of Main Street intersects the north
right of way line of the T &'N 0 R R Co.'s G H & S A Harris-
burg line,
Thence in a southwesterly direction along the north right
of way line of the said T & NOR R Co.' s HarrisbUJ'g line
to a point where the said north r~ht of waylin~ pi th~
T & NOR R Co.'s Harrisburg line intersects, or joins, the
easterly right of way line of the T & NOR R Co.'s Eureka-
Stella Cutoff line,

The area bounded by the above and foregoing metes and bounds
is marked nSection p" and outlined in red color on a map
marked ttExhibi t Aft and attached to Ordinance No. 300 passed
and approved by the City Commission of the City of West Uni-
versity Place at 6:43 P.M. o'clock on the 31st day of December
1945 A.D., and the above and foregoing notes of metes and
bounds are intended to circumscribe and include all the area
enclosed within the area outlined in red 8nd marked f'Section
D" on the map marked "Exhibi t .A tf attached to Ordinance No. 300.

That the boundary limits of the City of West University Place,
Texas, are here declared to be extended by the annexation to the City
of the hereinabove described land and territory.
SECTION III
Tha t on and after the passage and a pproval of this ordinance,
the inhabitants of the territory and area hereby annexed shall be en-
titled to all of the rights and privileges of other citizens of the
City of West University Place, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts,
ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the said City of West Uni-
versity Place, Texas.
