AN ORDINANCE EXTE1"DING THE CITY Lll.1ITS OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNT/ERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, BY ANNEJITNG TO THE
CITY CERTAIN ADDITIONAL LAND A1~D TERRITORY; DESCRIB-
ING THE LAND AND TERRITORY SO ANNEXED; AND PROVIDI:I\TG
WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECO:ME EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAIJ\1ED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF 1JVEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That the boundary limits of' the Cit,y of' West University Place,
Texas, are hereby extended so as to embrace the following described
area of land:
Beginning at a point in the west right of way line of the
Texas & New Orleans Railroad Company's Eureka-Stella Cutoff,
said point also bei~g in the east city limit line of a~ area
annexed by the City of West' University Place by Ordinance No.
300 passed and approved by the City Commission of the City
of West University Place, Harris County, Texas at 6:43 o'clock
P. M. on the 31st day of December, 1945, said point also being
a corner in the city limit line of the City of Houston where
the said Houston city limit line intersects the said west
right of way line of the T & NOR R Co. 250 feet south of
where the south line ,of Cambridge Place, if produ ced we st,
would intersect the said west line of the T & NOR R Co.'s,
right of way;

Thence east along the city limit line of' the City of Houston
to a corner in the city, limit line of the City of Houston,
said corner bein& a point 250 feet south of the south line
of Bradford Place on the prolongation of the east line of
Armand Avenue;'
Thence north along the city limit line of the City of Houston,
following the east line of Armand Avenue prolonged south, to
a corner in the city limit line of the City of Houston, said
corner being the southwest corner of Lot 1 of Block 4 of
Bradford Place;
Thence east along the city limit line of the City of Houston
to a corner in the said city limit line of the City of Houston,
said corner being a point in,the west line of Kirby Drive;
Thence in a southerly direction along the city limit line of
the City of Houston to a point where the west line of ,Kirby !,[IJ
Drive, if produced south, would intersect the center'l~ne of
Brays Bayou;

Thence in a westerly direction along the center line of Brays
Bayou with all its meanders to a point where the center line
of Brays Bayou intersects the west right of way line of the
T & NOR R C5.' s Eureka-Stella Cutoff:
Thence in a northerly direction along t~e west rifflt of way
line of the T & NOR R Co.' s Eureka-Stella Cutoff to the
point of beginning.
The area bounded by the above and foregoing metes and
bounds is marked "Section cft and outlined in blue color
on a map marked "Exhibit Aft and attached to Ordinance No.
300 passed and ap:proved by, the Cit;/ Commission of the City
'of West University Place at 6:43 o'clock P. M. on the 3lst
day of December, 1945, A.D., and the above and foregoing
notes of metes and bounds are intended to circumscribe and,
include all the area enclosed within the area outlined in
blue and marked "Section C" on the map marked "Exhibit All
attached to Ordinance No. 300.

Tha t the boundary 1 ir:its of the City of West University Place,
Texas, are here declared to be extended by the annexation to the City
of the hBreinabove described land and territory.
SECTION III
~hat on and after the passage and approval of this ordinance,
the inhahi tants of the territory hereby annexed shall be entitled to
all of the rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of
West University Place, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts, ordin-
ances, resolutions and regulations of the said City of West University
Place, Texas.
SECTIOI>T lIT
That this oralnance shall take effect and be in force on and
after December 31, A. D. 1945.
PASSED, ORDAINED and APPROVED this the 31st day of Becember,
A. D. 1945, at 9:54 o'clock P. M.
