NOTICE OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT HEARING

The Zoning Board of Adjustment ("ZBA") of the City of West University Place, Texas ("City") will hold a
public hearing in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Boulevazd, West
University Place, Texas 77005, during a meeting set to begin at 6:30 P.M. on Sentember 16, 2004. The
hearing may be recessed and continued to the ZBA meeting set to begin at 6:30 p.M. on October 21, 2004 at
the same place. The purpose of the hearing is to provide a special, additional opportunity for interested persons
to be heard in relation to the following matter:

Legal description of the site: Lot Sixteen (16), Seventeen (17) and Eighteen (18), in block Eleven
(11), of Collegeview addition, an addition in Harris County, Texas
according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 6, Page 44 of
the map records of Harris County, Texas

Applicant: Steven and Barbara Perlick
Action Requested: Applicant requests a variance to allow the principle building to be a
maximum of 36 feet instead of the required 35 feet. Article 7, Table 7-
4b:Principal buildings, Height, maximuxn.
Applicable regulations include the City's Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 211 of the Texas Local Government
Code and the rules of the ZBA. Additionat details on such matters, as well as, the applicable
