HomeMy WebLinkAbout10192000 ZBA Notice (4)• • City of ~est Uni~ersity P1ace • ~ ae~i~a ~~~ NOTIC:E OF ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTIVIENT HEARING The Zoning Board of Adjustment ("ZBA") of the City of West Un.iversity Place, Texas ("City") will hold a public hearing in the Municipal Build'uig, 3800 University Boulevard, and City of West University Place, Texas at 7:30 P.~vt. on October 19, 2000. The hearing may be recessed and continued to the ZBA meeting set to begin at 7:30 P.n~. o~i November 16. 2000 at the same place. The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for all persons to be heard in relation to the following matter: Address of t/ze site: 3730 Plumb Houston, Texas 77005 Legal descriptiaz of tlae site: Lot FOURTEEN (14) and the West five (W.5') of Lot FIFTEEN (15), in Block TWO (2), of SUNSET TERRACE, SECTION FIVE (5), a subdivision in Harris County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof, recorded in Volume 17, Page 31 of the Map records of Harris County, Texas. ~ Buildi~:g Pern:it No: N/A Peri~zittee/flpplica»t: Craig & Molly Joyce Actioiz Reycrested or Proposed: Request for an appeal from an or.der, requirement, decision, or determination made by the City's Building Official in reference to Zoning Ordinance, Articte 7., District Specific Regulations, Table 7-6. Projections Schedule, page ii, Note 5., Garages in Side Yards (c)Any projecting part must be at least seventy feet from the front street line. Request for variance to allo~v construction o.f projecting garage structure to be built 55' from property line. A~plicable regulAtions include the City's Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 211 of the TexAS Local Government Code and the rules of the Z.BA. Aclditional details on such matters, as well as, the applicable regulations a.re available for public inspection in the Public Works Center, 3826 Amherst, West University Place, 77005.
