A presentation on the v irtual gate is scheduled for April 16 a t 6:30 in the John Neighbors Activity Room 2. May 4 is the election which will be held at the city hall 3. Mention of the yearly shred it day on Milton and includes mattress and electronics Parks and Recreation: Susan White 1. Report on the remodeling of the Rec Center APAC Report 1. No report. Toby asked for a back -up. Nomination pending Good Neighbor Team: Toby Brooks 1. Team to meet A pril 18 (Thursday). Gifts planned for home -bound senior delivered on April 11 Senior Services report: Toby Brooks 1. Speed Friendship Day will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at noon. There will be four interest groups (Nature, Trains/Planes/Cars, Cooking, Arts/Cultural ). People will be paired up for a few minutes to learn aboutAtheAotherAperson.A fterwards,ApeopleAcanAreconnectAifAthere’sAaAmatchA of interests and chemistry. Phone numbers will not be given out. Sign up required. A suggestion was made for Toby to sign up every member of the Seniors Board . 2. TheA“contra”Adancing series continues, meeting 1 st & 3 rd Saturdays from 7:30 -9:30 p.m. 3. Spanish classes continue. 4. Another exercise class planned (Tues/Thurs 8:30 a.m.) with weights and cardio. 5. An (aspiring ) writer’sAclassAonAThursday,A9 -10 a.m. 6. Summer newsletter in preparation 7. Noted Community Center is open for all, 7:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. with coffee and wi -fi 8.
