MUNICIPAL BUILDING
3800 UNIVERSITY BLVD.
9:00 A.M.
The City Council convened in Special Session in the Municipal Building Conference
Room (3800 University Blvd.) on June 5, 2000, with the following members present:
Mayor Lewis presiding, Council Members Ballanfant, Bertini and May. The City
Manager, City Secretary and Parks and Recreation Director were also present.
The notice for this meeting was posted in accordance with the Texas Government Code,
Chapter 551, on the 6' day of June 2000 at 5:00 p.m.
Matters related to city center and parks planning:
Members of the City Council met with representatives from the West University Tri
Sports, Soccer Club, Little League, Softball, West U Library, West U Methodist Church,
West U Elementary School, West U Merchants Association, the Mayor of South Side
Place and members of the Traffic Task Force, Parks Board and Neighborhood Safety
Board. The City's consulting engineers from Claunch & Miller and Jim Patterson of
White Oak Studio were also present.
Presentations were made relating to the city center and parks planning.
Adjournment.
With no further business to come before the City Council at this time the meeting
adjourned at 11:50 a.m.
