AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY' PLACE, TEXAS, C01'lMONLY KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS
THE "ZONING ORDINANCEft BY AMENDING SECTION 29 THEREOF BY
ADDING A NEW SUB-PARAGRAPH TO BE KNOWN AS "4((, ESTABLISHING
A RETAIL BUSINESS DISTRICT IN A SPECIFIC PART OF mE NINTH
SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND A PART OF THE EIGH'IH'
SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DlffilRICT; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT A1.1]) BE IN FORCE IMMEDIATELY FROM
AND AFTER ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE' CITY OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:

That Section 29 of Ordinance No. 111 be amended by insertion
therein of a new sub-paragraph to be known a s "4ft which reads as
follows:
4-(a) A retail business district in addition to other
retail business district or districts shown on zoning
map or heretofore established by ordinance shall extend
from the west line of,Lot 28, Cambridge Place Addition,
to the east line of Lot 17, Cambridge Place Addition, and
from the north line of Bellaire Boulevard to the north
line of Cambridge Place Addition; pro~ided that the
buildings or improvements to be erected shall conform
with all the provisions of Ordinance No. 111 and amend-
ments thereto relating to uses and type of construction
and other requirements.
(b) The front building'line on Bellaire Boulevard in
the retail business district set forth in paragraph 4-(a)
shall be fifty-five (55) feet from the north line of
Bellaire Boulevard. No structure shall be erected closer
to the north line of Bellaire Boulevard than fifty-five
(55) feet except the provisions of this paragraph shall
not apply to canopies, awnings, marquees ~r cornices.
The Board of Adjustment may, upon proper application and
consideration, grant exceptions to the front building line
set forth herein.

SECT! ON II
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith inso-
far as they conflict, are herewith repealed.
SECTION III

. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately
from and after its passage and approval.
